Little Bookworm Merry Christmas 小書蟲歡度聖誕節
Friends and families came join us to celebrate Christmas in the library! There were special Christmas storytime host by local Children’s book author, Katrina Liu, arts and crafts, and of course the holly jolly Santa Claus. Sweet treats were sold on-site and all proceeds went toward funding library’s operation. Thank you everyone for your support!
Halloween Hoopla Celebration 小書蟲萬聖節嘉年華
The Little Bookworm Chinese Library participated in the Halloween parade of Menlo Park City this year. We marched with the band, set up booths at the carnival, and provided traditional Taiwanese pinball games for everyone to enjoy. Additionally, we had Halloween storytime and crafts at the library, including creative leaf pumpkins and little bats!
The Joy Culture Foundation is launching its Youth Leadership Program! 凱芯文教基金會推出青少年領袖計劃!
We are recruiting high school students interested in leadership development and serving the Chinese-American community in the San Francisco Bay Area. We invite high school students who have passion in Chinese language and culture to join our youth leadership group and contribute to the inheritance of Chinese culture and the establishment of vital community resources.

2022 Summer Kids Fun Day 夏季童玩日
This summer, The Joy Culture Foundation had the chance to introduce traditional Taiwanese kids carnival game to the families in the Bay Area. We created the 2022 Summer Kid Fun Day at the Little Bookworm Chinese Library, which included 6 different booths: ring toss, marble pinball, fishing, lucky pokes, toy train ride, and Mahjong matching.

The Joy Culture Foundation hosted its first Dragon Boat Festival event at the Little Bookworm Chinese Library on 6/4/22, a unique cultural experience in Menlo Park, Bay Area. The children learned about the history and traditional practices of the Chinese Dragon Boat Festival.
